Undergraduate Entrance Exams

Take the next step in your academic journey. The K-State Testing Center currently provides test information and administers entrance exams for students planning to sit for the ACT, ACCUPLACER Assessments, SAT, and Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS).

K-State administers the ACT assessment at least six times a year. Students and parents can learn more about the ACT test, find study resources, and get test registration information by visiting the ACT website.

Registration for the ACT is done online at www.act.org. If Internet access is not available, students may obtain ACT registration packets at their current high school or by contacting ACT headquarters by phone at (319) 337.1270.

ACT Workshop

Kansas State Office of Admission offers ACT Workshops at the Manhattan, Olathe and Salina campuses during the year. You can learn more about these ACT Workshops by visiting the K-State's Admissions website.

On-Campus ACT

K-State offers an on-campus ACT test for enrolled, admitted, or applying students. The test is an alternative to the ACT and allows the Test Center to proctor and immediately self-score an ACT test form, and publish results locally at K-State's Manhattan, Olathe, and Salina campuses.

The K-State Testing Center administers the On-Campus ACT test by appointment on dates when ACT is not offering a national test, or if the K-State Test Center is not participating on one of ACT's national test dates. Prospective test takers can find scheduled test dates on the Schedules page on this site. To register, complete and submit the Testing Services Request Form to the testing office.

ACCUPLACER is an integrated system of computer-adaptive assessments designed to evaluate students’ skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. ACCUPLACER is made of three integrated components designed to support the needs of students, educators and assessment coordinators.

The K-State Testing Center offers ACCUPLACER assessments testing for current and prospective students who are attempting to enroll in college classes at colleges and universities across the United States. Individuals interested in completing their assessment(s) at our Testing Center must submit a Testing Services Request Form at least one (1) week in advance of their desired test date. Test takers are responsible for verifying which assessments are required by their receiving colleges prior to their appointment.

The College Board offers the SAT Suite of Assessments in a digital format.

K-State administers the SAT assessment at least seven (7) times a year, in March, May, June, August, October November and December.

Students and parents can learn more about the SAT Suite of Assessments, find study resources, and get test registration information by visiting the College Board website.

To register for the SAT visit www.collegeboard.com. If Internet access is not available, students may obtain SAT registration packets at their current high school.

Kansas State offers the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) nursing entrance assessments for anyone wishing to complete their pre-nursing assessment. This assessment is administered by appointment on specific scheduled test dates which can be found of the home screen of this site.

To register, complete and submit the Testing Services Request Form to the testing office at least one week in advance of the scheduled test date. The Test Center will respond to your request and provide further information concerning your next steps.
